As the real sailing season ends, preparations for the virtual season 2012/2013 are proceeding.
The 10th International German Championships (IDM '12) will begin with qualification races on November, 1st and will be hosted by http://www.vskfun.com.
Several qualification races will be sailed on weekdays evenings. Participants can qualify for the 2 Semi-final fleets. The best 10 skippers of each Semi final series will move to the Finals, sailed on November, 27th (Tue) and 29th (Thu) 2012. In up to 6 races the International German Champion 2012 will be found.

The IDM will be sailed using the software 'VIRTUAL SKIPPER' by UBISOFT/NADEO. Tactical and thrilling races can be expected. Based on the fact, that the Protest Commitee will consist partly of Regional and International Judges of National Sailing Organizations the International German Championships belongs to the superior events inside the virtual sailing community.
